You are invited to plug into the Blackstone Valley Partnership –an open network of public and private-sector partners working to shape the future of the Blackstone River Valley. This website is a forum to help connect the Partnership and open it up to anyone wishes to contribute. It is built on a structure that will allow users to contibute content directly to the site, i.e. users become authors. By design, it will always be an evolving work. Building on the success of previous regional efforts in the Blackstone Valley, this forum brings partners together to deepen the collaboration between economic development, environmental stewardship, planning and development. A Regional Vision - The Blackstone Valley is a distinctive region of urban centers, mill villages, and rural landscapes connected by the Blackstone River Corridor and a shared history of innovation. We recognize that development patterns are not largely consistent with this vision and that we need to find a better way to shaping community change. |
